Sectrail Installation Guide

The compromise of user credentials poses a risk of unauthorized access to accounts. Nowadays, providing additional security measures to solve such issues is possible with the SecTrail authentication server.

In this document, you can find information about the requirements for installing SecTrail.

SecTrail, continues to expand its integration range in line with technological developments with its flexible and extensible code structure.

Server Type: Virtual

Supported Virtual Platforms: Vmware, HyperV, KVM Platforms

User Authentication Methods: Active Directory, Local or External Databases, Web Services

• If Active Directory will be used; the userdn, password, basedn, mobile attribute, mail attribute, Active Directory server IP, and port information of an Active Directory user with read permission are required.
• If using local database; no additional requirements needed, local database is used; If using external database; information such as external database IP, read/write authorized username and password, database and table structure are required."

Password Transmission Methods: SMS, Email, Software Token (SoftOTP)

• SMS: Information on the SMS transmission service and sending instructions, permissions for the SecTrail server to access the SMS transmission service;
• Email: Email server IP address, email address of a user authorized to send emails, permission for SecTrail server to access email server.
